Update on Red Hook Lobster Pound -From their website it says the line maxed out at 20 minutes last weekend, but you have to get to the flea before 3pm otherwise they may be sold out.
Lobster rolls only sold at the weekend fleas, not at their store in Red Hook.
However, in other exciting news - make your own lobster roll kits now being sold!
Notice on their website:
$45.00 = 1lb of lobster (enough for 4 rolls), homemade mayo, a package of JJ Nissen Top Split Rolls (the original lobster roll bread they truck down from Maine) and suggestions on making lobster salad.
Lobster Roll kit must be ordered by Wednesday 9pm for pick up the following Friday, Saturday or Sunday at thepound on Van Brunt St.
